Who your SMS comes from
The sender ID is what appears as "from" on the recipient's phone.
Your own mobile number
Recipients see your number and can call or text you back. We confirm it with a 6-digit code when you sign up, so it's ready to use from day one. You can add more numbers later the same way.
Our shared number
Every account can also send from our shared number, with nothing to set up.
Business names
Australian mobile networks check business sender names against an industry register to fight scam messages, and an unregistered name can show as "Unknown". If you'd like to send from your business name, get in touch and we'll talk you through it.
Tips
- Sending from your own mobile means customers can reply to you directly.
- Keep the same sender ID for the same kind of message, so people learn to trust it.
