How txtonline works
Everything happens in your browser. There's nothing to install and no phone needed.
- Create an account. Sign up with your details and confirm your mobile with the code we text you. We check each new account by hand, normally within one business day, to keep the service free of spammers.
- Top up. Choose a credit pack and pay by card through PayPal; the credits arrive automatically. See pricing.
- Choose who it's from. Messages come from your own confirmed mobile number, so customers can reply to you, or from our shared number. More about sender IDs.
- Send. Type a number or pick a contact, write your message and press send. The page counts characters and SMS parts as you type.
When you're sending to more than one person
Contacts and groups
Keep an address book, import contacts from a spreadsheet (CSV), and organise them into groups such as "Staff" or "Tuesday clients".
Batch sends
Send one message to a group or a pasted list of up to 500 numbers. Before anything goes, you see how many people it will reach and what it will cost.
Scheduled messages
Write a message now and pick the date and time it should go out (Sydney time). You can cancel it any time before then.
History and delivery status
Every message is listed with its cost and delivery status, and you can search it or download it as a spreadsheet.
